Venkatesh Pulijala has been promoted to Senior Principal – Enterprise Applications at Infosys, based in Hyderabad. In this leadership role, he will spearhead the SAP enterprise applications strategy and drive large‑scale transformation programs across global clients, with a strong emphasis on the Utilities industry, Enterprise Asset Management, Supply Chain Management, and Digital Enterprise Modernization.
He has consistently delivered strategic, objective and high‑impact consulting that enabled organizations to solve complex challenges, unlock value and accelerate performance through digital transformation, process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives. His leadership has been pivotal in end‑to‑end SAP programs – from implementations and global rollouts to upgrades and optimization projects achieving measurable gains in operational efficiency, performance and cost reduction across diverse geographies.
In his new role, Venkatesh will also lead the SAP Utilities Center of Excellence (CoE), advancing Infosys utilities portfolio by strengthening the Utilities Catalyst framework and embedding AI‑enabled solutions to provide a holistic approach to accelerate next‑generation S/4HANA programs. His vision and execution will be central to expanding the SAP Utilities practice and reinforcing Infosys’ position as a partner of choice for enterprises undertaking digital modernization at scale.
Venkatesh brings a wealth of global experience, having previously served in Accenture’s Global Strategy & Consulting practice, where he led strategic transformation programs across Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Chemicals. He also spent nearly four years at Wipro as SAP EAM Managing Consultant – Energy & Utilities, delivering complex engagements across Australia, UK and India. He began his career with Reliance Energy, building a strong foundation in power and utility operations.
With his extensive cross-functional leadership and international exposure, Venkatesh is uniquely positioned to drive digital transformation and modernization within the utilities and energy ecosystem.
