Ravi Ulangwar has been appointed as Vice President and Head – Water and Wastewater Management at Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps Pvt. Ltd., where he continues to lead strategic initiatives focused on advancing smart water infrastructure, sustainable water distribution systems, and large-scale wastewater solutions across India. In addition, he also serves as the Global Lead for Irrigation Management, driving global irrigation growth opportunities for the organization.
Before this, Ravi served as Director at Saisanket Group, one of India’s leading smart water management companies. During his tenure, he played a key role in conceptualizing and expanding the Pressurized Distribution Network (PDN) system across multiple states, improving water use efficiency, energy conservation, and agricultural productivity for millions of farmers across rural India.
Earlier in his career, he was a Member of the Board of Directors at Kirloskar Systech Limited and Kirloskar Corrocoat Private Limited, contributing to strategic business transformation and operational excellence initiatives in diversified industrial and engineering domains.
Ravi also spent over two decades with Kirloskar Brothers Limited, where he held leadership roles including Vice President & Business Sector Head for Power and Irrigation. His contributions have established him as one of India’s most respected voices in water sustainability, wastewater engineering, irrigation systems, and resource-efficient water delivery technologies — earning him recognition as one of India’s top Water Warriors.
