Peeyush Anand has recently taken on the role of Associate Vice President at EY (Ernst & Young), where he leads the Program Management Unit (PMU) for the policy’s execution. Based in Pune, his work bridges public and private sector collaboration to advance renewable energy goals and promote hydrogen as a sustainable energy source for India’s future.
Prior to this, Peeyush served as Senior Project Consultant at EY for over five years, managing strategic consulting projects in the renewable energy and power domains. His leadership in policy implementation, energy transition programs, and sustainability frameworks positioned him as a key contributor to India’s clean energy initiatives. He played a pivotal role in energy modeling, project feasibility, and stakeholder coordination, helping clients navigate the evolving energy landscape.
Before joining EY, Peeyush gained industry experience with Hero Future Energies, where he worked as a Senior Executive and later as a Management Trainee. During his tenure, he was responsible for project planning, execution, performance monitoring, and reporting for solar and wind projects. His detailed involvement in EPC coordination, budget variance analysis, and asset performance optimization demonstrated his strong command of renewable project management and technical operations.
Earlier in his career, Peeyush worked with organizations such as Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission, NIC (National Informatics Centre), HCL Infosystems Ltd., Jamna Auto Industries Ltd., and Quadrant Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd.. Across these roles, he developed multifaceted expertise spanning regulatory frameworks, GIS-based digital infrastructure, production management, and telecom operations. His career journey reflects a dynamic blend of technical proficiency, policy insight, and leadership in India’s evolving energy ecosystem.
