Nikhil Garg has joined ArcelorMittal Global Business & Technologies (AMGBT) as Talent Acquisition Leader, bringing with him a strong background in global talent strategy, leadership hiring, and organizational transformation. Based in Pune, Nikhil is set to play a key role in driving next-generation talent strategies for the company’s global operations.
Prior to this appointment, Nikhil served as Group Leader – Talent & Strategy at Leaders’Edge Consulting Pvt. Ltd. where he led the “ExoTalent Group,” covering Leaders’Edge, ExoTalent, and LinkCxO. During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives across multiple regions including the USA, UK, Middle East, Africa, and Europe, significantly improving executive hiring outcomes, employer branding, and diversity-driven recruitment frameworks.
Nikhil also worked with SearchBourne Consulting in various leadership roles, including AVP – Global Talent Acquisition and DGM – Global Talent Acquisition & Business Ops. His achievements there include designing global recruiting programs, leveraging AI-driven talent mapping, and leading C-suite hiring strategies across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience through internships at ValeurHR and Air India Limited, which gave him early exposure to data analytics, research, and corporate functions.
At AMGBT, Nikhil is tasked with building succession-ready leadership pipelines, embedding AI and predictive analytics into talent strategies, and evolving talent acquisition into a core growth engine that directly contributes to business outcomes. His expertise in connecting hiring outcomes to revenue growth, retention, and innovation is expected to significantly strengthen ArcelorMittal’s talent ecosystem.
