Ankit Saxena has taken on the role of Senior Manager – Marketing at OPPO India, bringing with him over a decade of rich experience in digital marketing, integrated communications, and strategic media planning. Based in Gurugram, he will spearhead marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening OPPO’s brand positioning and driving impactful consumer engagement across India.
Before joining OPPO India, Ankit served as AVP – Digital at Publicis Groupe India, where he led digital strategy for Nestlé India under Zenith. His role involved driving strategic media planning, performance marketing, and innovation-led campaigns that delivered measurable business growth. He was instrumental in building robust client relationships and managing high-performing teams to achieve executional excellence.
Ankit’s career also includes notable leadership roles at Havas Media Network India, where he worked as Head of Digital Media – South and Senior Director – Digital, handling marquee brands and leading integrated marketing strategies. Prior to that, he held pivotal positions at Isobar India, where he managed regional digital strategy and planning, and at LIQVD Asia and WATConsult, where he honed his expertise in media buying, brand performance, and communication development for diverse sectors including FMCG, BFSI, e-commerce, and real estate.
A media professional with a strong academic foundation, Ankit holds an MBA in Communication and Media Management from the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya. With his proven track record in delivering high-impact marketing solutions, Ankit’s appointment is set to bolster OPPO India’s marketing strategies and further enhance its competitive edge in the dynamic Indian smartphone market.
