Swati Sharma has been appointed as Assistant Vice President – Human Resources at Indian Energy Exchange (IEX). In her new role, she will be responsible for driving people strategy, organizational development, and HR transformation initiatives to strengthen IEX’s talent ecosystem and workplace culture. With a proven track record in human capital management, Swati brings more than 13 years of diverse experience in HR leadership, talent development, and organizational transformation.
Prior to joining IEX, Swati had a successful tenure of over nine years with NASSCOM, where she played multiple leadership roles in HR. Most recently, she served as Senior Manager – HR, leading critical people operations, recruitment, talent engagement, and organizational development initiatives. During her time there, she was instrumental in building high-performing teams, implementing people-first practices, and aligning HR strategies with business growth.
Swati’s earlier career includes significant contributions at HCLTech, where she worked as an HR Business Partner for over three years. In this role, she spearheaded strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, and engagement programs, which contributed to enhanced employee experience and retention.
She began her professional journey with YES BANK as a Management Trainee before moving into consultancy and corporate HR leadership roles. Over the years, she has developed expertise in HRIS, recruitment, policy formulation, employee engagement, and organizational restructuring, making her a versatile HR leader with a holistic perspective.
With her appointment at IEX, Swati is set to leverage her extensive expertise to foster an inclusive and future-ready workplace. She will focus on strengthening HR frameworks, driving digital transformation in HR operations, and building sustainable talent strategies to support the company’s long-term growth vision.
