Poojitha Balachandran has joined Tessell as the new Head of HR & People Ops. With a rich background in Core HR, Consulting, and HR Tech, Poojitha brings over a decade of experience in driving people-centric transformation and digital HR strategy. Her appointment underscores Tessell’s commitment to building a people-first culture that fuels both individual and organizational growth.
Prior to joining Tessell, Poojitha was with Darwinbox for nearly six years, where she held multiple leadership roles, including HR Transformation & Customer Success Leader for the North Americas region. She played a pivotal role in scaling partnerships, leading digital transformation projects, and managing large client portfolios across geographies.
Her career also includes impactful stints at Capillary Technologies, EY, and Infosys, where she contributed to HR transformation, talent management, and process optimization initiatives. With a postgraduate degree from XLRI Jamshedpur, Poojitha is known for her strategic thinking, people leadership, and expertise in aligning HR innovation with business growth.
At Tessell, she will be responsible for strengthening HR and people operations, enabling teams to scale with agility while nurturing a culture of learning, collaboration, and inclusion.
