Ketaki Shiralkar has been appointed as Partner & CFO at People Equation, Pune. In this strategic role, she will lead the organization’s finance, compliance, and operational functions while driving long-term growth and profitability. Her appointment underscores People Equation’s focus on strengthening financial leadership with a professional who combines operational expertise with strategic foresight to build scalable, sustainable business models.
With over 18 years of experience in finance and operations, Ketaki has previously served as Comptroller and Vice President – Finance at Lentra, where she played a critical role in establishing a strong operational and financial base, expanding the business globally from 50 to over 1000 employees. She managed teams of chartered accountants, financial experts, and legal advisors across multiple geographies, driving process efficiency, risk management, and compliance excellence. Her strategic initiatives significantly enhanced profitability and optimized spend during critical phases of growth.
Ketaki has a proven track record in creating robust tax, compliance, and governance frameworks. She has successfully implemented long-term risk management policies covering transfer pricing, funds management, accounts receivable/payable, and contracting. Her leadership extended to investor relations, ensuring business commitments were met, and she consistently optimized financial reporting, accounting practices, and tax planning strategies to support informed business decisions.
Earlier in her career, she held senior finance leadership roles at Softcell Technologies, Vantage Insurance Brokers & Risk Advisors, and Fullerton India Credit Company, where she established accounting systems, internal control frameworks, and statutory compliance processes. She has demonstrated expertise in budgeting, audits, procurement, payroll management, and ERP-led team operations, effectively managing large teams and complex financial ecosystems.
Ketaki’s multifaceted experience also spans allied functions such as administration, employee engagement, IT, infrastructure setup, and employee benevolent fund management. Her holistic approach to finance, governance, and operational excellence positions her as a transformative leader, capable of steering People Equation toward sustainable growth and robust financial health in an evolving business landscape.
