Anupama Priyadarshini has been appointed as the Independent Director at SabPaisa, a prominent RBI-approved payment gateway. With this new role, she brings over two decades of diverse experience across corporate governance, finance, compliance, and strategic leadership, contributing to SabPaisa’s growth trajectory in the ever-evolving fintech space.
Before her current appointment, Anupama served as the Senior Vice President – Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance and Investor Relations at the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), where she played a pivotal role in laying a strong governance framework and led a ₹600+ crore fundraise from leading public and private banks. She also functioned as the interim CFO, overseeing finance operations and co-developing ONDC’s future revenue model.
Anupama’s earlier career includes a distinguished 13-year tenure at IKEA Group, where she held leadership roles including CFO & Business Navigation, Purchasing Logistics South Asia and Director, IKEA Services India Pvt. Ltd. She was instrumental in driving financial strategy, risk management, digital transformation, and people development initiatives across South Asia. Her leadership contributed to scaling IKEA’s India operations and enhancing local sourcing, governance, and operational excellence.
Alongside her corporate roles, she continues to guide leaders and organizations through Kahaani Consulting & Mentoring, where she serves as Founding Mentor, enabling growth through leadership development, governance frameworks, and talent transformation strategies. Her efforts focus on empowering organizations to navigate change, foster collaboration, and build leadership capacity at all levels.
