Ruchika Arora has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Domestic Business at Welspun Living Limited, a flagship company of the Welspun Group. Based in Mumbai, she will lead the company’s domestic strategy, operations, and growth agenda, focusing on strengthening Welspun’s leadership in India’s home textile and lifestyle segment.
Ruchika brings to her new role over 16 years of multifaceted experience across strategy, business development, and operations in sectors spanning manufacturing, consumer goods, and retail. Before this appointment, she was the Business Head for the India Market at Welspun Flooring, where she played a pivotal role in expanding market presence, driving channel growth, and building a strong customer base across multiple segments.
Her association with the Welspun Group began in 2021, where she served as Senior Vice President – Global Operations and Strategy. In this role, she led global operational excellence programs, developed strategic frameworks for growth, and contributed significantly to the group’s transformation agenda across geographies. Prior to joining Welspun, Ruchika held leadership positions at WestRock Company and Tata Steel, where she focused on business strategy, market expansion, and cross-functional innovation.
A Tata Administrative Services (TAS) professional, Ruchika’s early career included assignments with Tata International, Tata Chemicals, and Virgin Mobile India, where she worked on high-impact strategic projects, including M&A initiatives, business modeling, and market entry strategies. Her work at Tata Steel (South Africa) and Tata Chemicals (Brazil and Mozambique) reflected a strong global perspective on sustainable and inclusive business development.
As CEO of Welspun Living’s domestic business, Ruchika is expected to drive growth through innovation, brand expansion, and operational agility. Her appointment underscores Welspun’s focus on strengthening leadership for its India operations and building a more customer-driven, technology-enabled ecosystem in the home and lifestyle space.
