Prashant Awasthi (LinkedIn) has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Kisna by H.K. Jewels, a leading diamond and gold jewellery brand. With this appointment, Kisna aims to further its vision of making diamond jewellery accessible to every Indian household by strengthening its brand presence, consumer engagement, and retail strategy.

Prashant joins Kisna with more than two decades of experience in marketing and brand management across diverse sectors including fashion, retail, FMCG, and wellness. Most recently, he served as AVP and Head of Marketing at Siyaram Silk Mills Ltd., where he spearheaded brand campaigns, product launches, PR initiatives, and digital transformation for iconic brands like Siyaram’s, Oxemberg, Cadini, and J. Hampstead. His leadership was pivotal in driving integrated marketing communication and enhancing brand recall across offline and digital platforms.

Before Siyaram’s, Prashant headed the marketing function at Jiva Ayurveda, where he was instrumental in building the brand’s digital ecosystem, expanding customer engagement, and positioning Ayurveda in a modern, consumer-friendly manner. His role spanned multiple verticals, from clinics and e-commerce to wellness products, where he successfully drove campaigns, product launches, and loyalty programs that strengthened Jiva’s pan-India presence.

Earlier in his career, he contributed to the growth of leading retail brands at Trent Hypermarket Ltd – A Tata & Tesco Enterprise, managing trade planning and brand communication for Star Bazaar stores, and at Reliance Retail Ltd., where he played a key role in marketing communication, trade planning, and customer loyalty strategies across 600 stores nationwide. He also held marketing leadership positions at Gigabyte Technology and started his professional journey at Ingram Micro India.

With this vast cross-industry experience, Prashant brings deep expertise in consumer insights, retail marketing, digital transformation, and brand building. His appointment at Kisna by H.K. Jewels is expected to accelerate the brand’s nationwide expansion, strengthen its digital-first approach, and further enhance its positioning as a household name in the diamond jewellery segment.
