Kumar Vikrant has joined Encardio-Rite as Vice President – Global Business Development, marking an important milestone in his career across strategy, global expansion, and large-scale infrastructure markets. In this leadership role, he will spearhead international business development with a strategic focus on the US and LATAM markets, while advancing growth in infrastructure domains such as tunnelling, metros, mining, dams, and renewable energy projects.
Before joining Encardio-Rite, Kumar served as Assistant Vice President – Strategy & Business Management at Sterlite Electric, where he played a pivotal role in scaling global operations, launching export portfolios across multiple continents, and accelerating Sterlite’s entry into high-value international markets. His contributions included establishing distributor ecosystems, building business cases for manufacturing footprints, and leading PMO governance for high-impact capital projects.
Earlier, at Hero Cycles, Kumar led international business initiatives and contributed to the organisation’s entry into next-generation mobility, including electric vehicles. Prior to that, he spent nearly six transformative years at wipro, where he delivered strategic programs worth billions in infrastructure investment, supported renewable ventures, and led partnerships and policy engagements at national and global levels. His journey includes experience with global clients, government bodies, and cross-functional leadership teams across energy, mobility, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
At Encardio-Rite, Kumar will oversee global account expansion, strategic partnerships, high-value pipeline development, and team leadership to strengthen the company’s global footprint. His expertise in international strategy, market expansion, and business transformation positions him to contribute meaningfully toward scaling the organisation’s presence across emerging and established markets.
