Dr. Anup Gopalakrishnan Nair has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Kennys Group, where he will spearhead the organization’s global human capital strategy across geographies. In this strategic executive mandate, Dr. Nair will oversee people strategy, organizational transformation, leadership development, governance, and talent initiatives for a multi-sector Pan-African conglomerate spanning Luxury Retail, Hospitality, Travel, F&B, Real Estate, Construction, Mining, Trading, and Business Services.
Bringing nearly 25 years of global executive leadership, Dr. Nair has established an outstanding reputation for driving enterprise-wide HR transformation, M&A integration, workforce scaling, and governance-led organizational design. Prior to joining Kennys Group, he advised high-growth and family-owned enterprises as an Independent Consultant and Fractional CHRO on IPO readiness, leadership architecture, and SAP HR integration, following senior executive appointments as Senior Vice President – Corporate Services at Piramal Foundation and Deputy Director – HR & OD at CARE India.
Underpinning his recent tenure is an expansive global portfolio and multi-market background across diverse sectors—including Infrastructure, EPC, Manufacturing, Logistics, Telecom, Tech, and Healthcare—with key international leadership roles at Essar Group (Head – International HR, Admin & Procurement), Melcom Group of Companies (Group Head – HR, IR & Admin), Accura Business Services LLC, NISA Group, Future Group, and Patel Electronics.
