Before founding Biglyp, Mahesh built an accomplished 24-year career in banking and financial services. Most recently, he served as Head – Liability Acquisition | Head – Retail Trade & Foreign Exchange at CSB Bank, where he led the CASA, Retail Forex, and Trade businesses. Earlier at Axis Bank, he headed the Retail Forex & Remittances business, managing over USD 10 billion in annual forex volumes, and also led one of the bank’s largest Retail Lending Distribution businesses.
Throughout his career at CSB Bank, Axis Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and ICICI Bank, Mahesh gained extensive expertise in retail lending, SME banking, retail forex, trade finance, payments, liability business, and digital transformation. His deep engagement with students, educational institutions, and the education financing ecosystem inspired the vision behind Biglyp.
