Akashdeep Singh has been appointed as Senior Center Director at Nexus Select CITYWALK, marking another significant milestone in his distinguished career in retail real estate, mall operations, and asset management. In this role, he will be responsible for driving overall center performance, enhancing customer and retailer experiences, strengthening operational excellence, and supporting the strategic growth objectives of one of India’s most prominent retail destinations.
Prior to this appointment, Akashdeep served as Center Director at The Phoenix Mills Ltd., where he led the operations and management of a major retail asset in Ahmedabad. Before that, he spent nearly eight years with Nexus Malls, progressing through multiple leadership positions including Senior Manager – Operations, AGM – Operations, Center Head, and Center Director. During this tenure, he played a key role in improving operational efficiency, driving business performance, managing stakeholder relationships, and delivering customer-centric retail experiences across large-scale shopping destinations.
Earlier in his career, Akashdeep held leasing, retailer management, and operations leadership roles with Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd., Alphacorp, and Iscon Group Pvt. Ltd. These experiences enabled him to build deep expertise in mall operations, retail leasing, retailer engagement, business development, facility management, and commercial asset optimization. His ability to successfully manage complex retail environments and lead high-performing teams has contributed significantly to the success of the organizations he has served.
With nearly two decades of experience across retail, commercial real estate, leasing, and operations management, Akashdeep brings a strong blend of strategic leadership and execution excellence to his new role.
