Hardik Surti has been appointed Assistant General Manager – Injectable Head at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, marking a significant step forward in his leadership journey within the pharmaceutical manufacturing space. Based in Mehsana, Gujarat, he will lead injectable manufacturing operations, bringing his extensive expertise in production, compliance, and large-scale project execution to further strengthen the company’s capabilities in sterile manufacturing.
Prior to joining Emcure, Hardik served as Senior Manager at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he contributed to injectable manufacturing operations and process excellence. He also held the role of Manager at Troikaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he played a key role in greenfield project execution and production management. His experience in setting up and scaling operations has been instrumental in driving efficiency and ensuring high-quality output in regulated environments.
Earlier in his career, Hardik worked with Sun Pharma, where he was actively involved in compliance enhancement, product investigations, and quality improvement initiatives. His hands-on expertise in root cause analysis, FMEA, risk assessment, and QMS tools helped strengthen manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to global quality standards. He also gained valuable experience at Zydus Group, working on manufacturing, filling, and lyophilization in aseptic environments, building a strong technical foundation in injectable formulations.
Hardik began his professional journey in R&D and formulation roles, including his tenure at Reliance and Zydus Group as a Scientific Officer, where he developed deep knowledge of cGMP practices, SAP systems, and sterile manufacturing processes. With a well-rounded background spanning greenfield and brownfield projects, production leadership, and quality compliance, Hardik brings a strong execution-driven approach to his new role. His appointment is expected to further enhance operational excellence and innovation in injectable manufacturing at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited.
