Ajay Mishra has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer, Sustainability, EHS and Admin at MAHLE ANAND Thermal Systems Private Limited, marking a significant milestone in his two-decade career in human resources, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Based in Pune, he now takes charge of driving people strategy, strengthening sustainability frameworks, and overseeing critical EHS and administrative functions as the organization accelerates its transformation journey.
Before this appointment, Ajay served as Group Vice President – Human Resources at ANAND Group India, where he spent over three years shaping group-wide HR strategy, talent development, leadership capability building, and organizational culture across multiple business units. His initiatives in workforce planning, succession management, and employee engagement positioned him as a pivotal leader contributing to the group’s long-term human capital development and strategic HR excellence.
Ajay also brings extensive experience from his impactful tenure at RBS, where he spent nearly nine years in multiple leadership mandates, ultimately serving as Head – Reward, Pension & Benefits Consulting. During this period, he led large-scale reward transformation, designed performance management frameworks, managed complex global HR projects, and strengthened leadership development interventions. His experience also includes strategic coaching, change management, HR audits, and redesigning organization-wide people processes to support evolving business needs.
His earlier career journey includes key leadership positions at GlobalLogic, Aricent, and IBM, where he shaped organizational development, employee engagement, talent management, and learning strategies at global scale. Across these roles, Ajay led multicultural teams, managed high-impact behavioral and leadership development programs, and strengthened organizational effectiveness systems.
