Vikas Jain has been elevated to Sr. Manager – Systems Engineering (Channels) at Nutanix. This elevation reflects his exceptional technical leadership, deep industry experience, and continued contributions to strengthening Nutanix’s channel engineering ecosystem across India. In his new capacity, he will spearhead strategic solution engineering initiatives, partner enablement, and advanced cloud architecture support for channel-driven business growth.
Vikas has been an integral part of Nutanix for nearly eight years, steadily progressing through critical engineering roles. Prior to this elevation, he served as Manager – Systems Engineering for India Channels, where he played a key role in enhancing partner competencies, driving multi-cloud readiness, and enabling seamless deployment of hybrid cloud and HCI solutions. His earlier tenure as Team Lead – Systems Engineering demonstrated his ability to build strong, collaborative teams and steer complex, large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
Before joining Nutanix, Vikas held the role of Senior Systems Architect, where he worked extensively on SAN, NAS, hypervisors, virtualization, hybrid cloud, and cloud orchestration technologies. His hands-on mastery in designing resilient, scalable systems enabled organizations to accelerate their modernization journeys with confidence and technical clarity.
A significant part of Vikas’s professional foundation was shaped during his decade-long association with Dell EMC. Across roles such as Advisory Technical Consultant and Senior Solutions Architect, he built deep expertise in storage engineering, data replication technologies, and advanced EMC infrastructure platforms like DMX, SRDF, MirrorView, Open Replicator, and more. These experiences contributed to his reputation as a trusted enterprise architecture specialist.
Vikas began his career through engineering and architecture roles at AT&T, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Infotech, and Team Computers, where he developed a strong base in solutioning and systems integration. With his elevation to Sr. Manager – Systems Engineering (Channels) at Nutanix, he is now poised to drive next-level innovation across channel operations, strengthen partner technical ecosystems, and contribute to the company’s broader cloud transformation mission.
