With a career spanning over 15 years at IIR, he brings a deep understanding of market intelligence, strategic research, and cross-regional analytics across high-impact sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, energy, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Before stepping into this senior leadership position, Bidhayak served as Senior Regional Manager for South Asia and Oceania, where he oversaw multi-country research initiatives, managed customer requirements, and strengthened IIR’s presence across key markets. His analytical strength, combined with his ability to lead cross-functional teams, enabled the expansion of IIR’s research footprint and deepened engagement with enterprise clients and government stakeholders in fast-evolving industries.
Throughout his journey at Industrial Info Resources, Bidhayak has progressed through pivotal roles—Regional Manager, Assistant Manager, and earlier, Assistant Manager for the Power sector across South Asia. In each capacity, he played a central role in sourcing primary data, conducting comprehensive market assessments, identifying emerging trends, and delivering insights across sectors such as power generation, oil & gas, metals, chemicals, and renewable energy. His expertise in interviews, field intelligence, and industry verification has anchored several of IIR’s high-impact research outputs.
Bidhayak’s professional roots also include key positions at the Indian Petro Group as Senior Correspondent & Analyst and as an Outreach Officer with Greenpeace India, giving him early exposure to policy, sustainability, and the broader economic landscape. With an MBA and executive education from IIM, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a nuanced understanding of regional market dynamics.
In his new role as Assistant Vice President, Bidhayak will focus on driving IIR’s strategic expansion across Asia, strengthening research quality, and deepening IIR’s engagement across high-growth economies.
