Prashant Bhatnagar has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager – Marketing at Nissan Motor India Private Limited, where he will be leading strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen the brand’s presence in the Indian automotive market. In this capacity, he will oversee performance marketing, integrated campaigns, BTL activations, and dealer performance to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth across the region.

Prior to this appointment, Prashant served as a Marketing Consultant at Masters’ Union, where he spearheaded brand-building and digital transformation initiatives. He successfully conceptualized and executed high-impact marketing campaigns, launched the Family Business Transformation Programme, and played a key role in positioning Masters’ Union as one of India’s most innovative B-schools.

Previously, Prashant held the position of AGM & Head – Brand and Media Strategy at Great Wall Motors, where he was instrumental in launching the brand in India. His leadership in media strategy, advertising, and digital marketing helped establish strong brand awareness and drive business momentum during the company’s market entry phase.

Earlier in his career, Prashant spent over a decade with Honda Cars India Ltd, rising to the role of Head of Brand. He led successful 360-degree marketing campaigns, improved customer experience through digital initiatives, and played a pivotal role in elevating Honda’s brand visibility and customer satisfaction in the Indian market.

Having begun his professional journey with notable organizations like Sony Electronics, Leo Burnett, and Inter Ads Limited, Prashant brings over two decades of experience in marketing, brand strategy, and communications. His appointment reflects Nissan’s commitment to strengthening its marketing leadership and driving innovation in customer engagement across India.
