Gurwinder Singh has joined HGS (Hinduja Global Solutions) as General Manager – Tax, bringing with him extensive expertise in international and corporate taxation. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s tax strategy, compliance, and planning, supporting HGS’s global operations from Bengaluru.
Before joining HGS, Gurwinder held senior leadership roles at EY and PwC India, where he spent over nine years specializing in international tax, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and regulatory advisory. During his tenure at EY as Director, he led strategic tax engagements and advised multinational clients on complex deal structuring and tax optimization.
His earlier experience at PwC and Price Waterhouse & Co LLP further strengthened his proficiency in tax litigation, compliance management, transfer pricing, and global tax planning. Gurwinder began his career with Vineet Krishan & Associates and Sanjay Deep & Associates, gaining valuable exposure to tax audits, litigation, and advisory across sectors.
An alumnus of S.D. College, Chandigarh, Gurwinder is known for his strong command over both domestic and international taxation frameworks. His appointment at HGS highlights the company’s focus on enhancing strategic financial governance and ensuring robust tax compliance amid its continued global expansion.
