Preethi Vaidya has taken on the role of APAC Senior Tax Manager at Amazon in Bengaluru, India. With nearly a decade-long journey at Amazon, she has been instrumental in leading complex tax operations and compliance across the Asia-Pacific region.
In her new capacity, Preethi will oversee tax strategy, governance, and compliance frameworks for Amazon’s advertising division across multiple markets in APAC. Previously, she served as APAC Tax Manager, where she led direct tax initiatives for the region, and before that as International Tax Manager, managing cross-border tax operations and ensuring alignment with global tax policies.
Her professional journey began at Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP, where she worked for over five years as Deputy Manager, honing her expertise in corporate taxation, regulatory compliance, and client advisory.
A Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Preethi brings over 13 years of diverse experience in taxation and international finance. Her new role signifies Amazon’s continued investment in strategic tax leadership to support its expanding advertising business in the APAC region.
