Suraj Dhruv has been appointed as the Business Head at Lubi Electronics. In his new role, Suraj will be responsible for driving overall business growth, profitability, and expansion of Lubi Group into the renewable energy domain. Based in Ahmedabad, he will oversee the group’s foray into Solar, Solar-Wind Hybrid, Green Hydrogen-Ammonia (GH2-NH3), and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). His leadership will be instrumental in strengthening the company’s renewable portfolio, establishing new market frontiers, and positioning Lubi Electronics as a major player in India’s clean energy transition.
Suraj brings with him a rich and diverse career spanning across leading Indian and global organizations in the energy and sustainability sectors. Before joining Lubi Electronics, he served as Senior General Manager and Head of Business Development at Prozeal Green Energy Limited, where he led both national and international renewable projects exceeding 2.2 GW in capacity with an additional 1.4 GW in the pipeline. His strategic vision drove Prozeal’s expansion into markets across India, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe through impactful partnerships and joint ventures. Suraj has consistently demonstrated excellence in P&L management, M&A execution, and scaling businesses for global competitiveness.
Prior to his tenure at Prozeal, Suraj held the position of General Manager and Head of Business Development at Matrix Gas and Renewables Limited, a Gujarat-based green hydrogen and natural gas infrastructure firm promoted by Gensol Engineering and BluSmart. There, he played a key role in developing large-scale and small-scale hydrogen projects, structuring joint ventures, and overseeing strategic collaborations in emerging clean energy technologies. His initiatives contributed to advancing India’s renewable infrastructure and accelerating its journey toward net-zero emissions.
Earlier in his career, Suraj served as Deputy General Manager for Advanced Mobility at Jio-bp (Reliance BP Mobility Limited), where he spearheaded new business development in CNG, LNG, Hydrogen, and Bio-CNG segments. He also played a pivotal role in Adani Total Gas, managing key projects including India’s first City Gas Distribution SCADA system in partnership with Honeywell and leading ESG-driven solarization projects across gas distribution networks. His earlier roles at Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation and Gujarat State Petronet Limited equipped him with strong technical and project management expertise, laying the foundation for his later strategic leadership in renewable business expansion.
