Prasad Oruganti has been appointed as Associate Vice President at Ascendion, a global leader in digital engineering and technology solutions. Based in Hyderabad, Prasad’s new role marks a strategic progression in his illustrious career spanning nearly two decades across technology, analytics, and enterprise transformation. At Ascendion, he will spearhead initiatives in digital innovation, data-driven strategy, and delivery excellence, driving impactful outcomes for global clients in the evolving AI and analytics ecosystem.
Prior to joining Ascendion, Prasad served at LTIMindtree for over three years, where he held key leadership roles including Senior Director – Data & Analytics and Director – Data & Intelligence (Data Science & Engineering). During his tenure, he played a vital role in shaping large-scale digital transformation programs, developing advanced analytics frameworks, and fostering data-centric business decision-making. His contributions helped enterprises accelerate their analytics maturity and enhance operational agility through scalable, cloud-based data ecosystems.
Before his tenure at LTIMindtree, Prasad had a long and successful stint at Cognizant, where he served as Delivery Manager – Data Science & Analytics for more than five years. There, he led multiple enterprise programs in data engineering, advanced analytics, and business intelligence, partnering closely with global clients to deliver measurable business impact. His leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring end-to-end delivery success was widely recognized.
Earlier in his career, Prasad spent over a decade with Tech Mahindra, where he rose through the ranks to become Program Delivery Manager. In this capacity, he managed enterprise-scale technology transformation projects, led practice-building initiatives, and oversaw full lifecycle program management—including pre-sales, stakeholder engagement, P&L ownership, and delivery governance. His tenure at Tech Mahindra was instrumental in establishing his reputation as a leader with a balance of strategic foresight and executional excellence.
In addition to his corporate experience, Prasad has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty at Protouch, where he mentored professionals in leadership, project management, and agile methodologies. His passion for learning, teaching, and mentoring underscores his commitment to building strong, future-ready teams.
