Jiyaul Hoque has taken on a new leadership role as Country Director – Indian Subcontinent at INABA FOODS, a global leader in premium pet food solutions. With the pet care category, particularly cats, witnessing significant growth in the region, Hoque will be responsible for spearheading INABA FOODS’ expansion and delivering world-class, tastier products to meet evolving consumer demands. His appointment marks a pivotal step for the company as it strengthens its footprint across India and neighboring markets.
Hoque brings with him nearly two decades of experience in the pet nutrition industry, most recently serving as Country Manager for Mars Pet Nutrition – Bangladesh. Over his 19-year tenure at Mars, he held several critical roles including National Manager – Vets and Institutions Business, Project Manager – SPT E-commerce, and other leadership assignments across sales, talent management, and business planning. His contributions at Mars played a central role in driving sustainable business growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and positioning Mars Pet Nutrition as a category leader across South Asia.
Earlier in his career, Hoque began his professional journey with Pfizer Animal Health India Limited, where he worked as a Companion Animal Service Officer for nearly four years. This role allowed him to develop a deep understanding of animal health, sales, and distribution, laying a strong foundation for his long-standing career in the pet care and nutrition industry. His diverse experience across multinational organizations such as Pfizer and Mars has equipped him with a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and industry expertise.
With his move to INABA FOODS, Hoque is expected to leverage his experience in pet nutrition, sales strategy, and market development to build a robust growth strategy for the brand across the Indian subcontinent. His appointment highlights INABA FOODS’ commitment to strengthening its leadership team as it aims to capture the fast-evolving pet care market in South Asia.
