Anil Kumar Gupta has been appointed as President – Operations at Kusumgar, bringing with him 27 years of extensive experience in transforming textile manufacturing operations and setting industry benchmarks. Known for driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and achieving record-breaking performance, Anil has built a reputation for establishing world-class systems that deliver consistent business results.
Before joining Kusumgar, Anil served as Senior Vice President – Operations at International Conveyors Limited, where he led large-scale operational improvements over a period of more than two years. His leadership focused on modernising processes, optimising resources, and introducing best practices that significantly improved efficiency and output.
Previously, Anil held the role of Vice President – Operations and Unit Head at SRF Limited, overseeing the Chennai operations for over three years. He has also served as GM – Operations and Unit Head at Threads (India) Pvt. Ltd., and as Plant Head at Infiiloom, where he spearheaded manufacturing excellence and quality assurance initiatives. His career journey includes key operational roles at CIEL Textile in Mauritius, Richa Industries, and over a decade with Voltas Limited – A TATA Enterprise.
A B.Tech in Textile Technology graduate from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar, Anil combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. In his new role at Kusumgar, he will be responsible for strengthening operational frameworks, driving innovation in textile manufacturing, and ensuring sustainable growth for the company.
