Nilesh Patel has been appointed as Sr. General Manager – Quality Control at BioMatrix Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic leadership addition to the organization’s quality vertical. With over 20 years of rich experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Nilesh brings a wealth of technical proficiency and regulatory expertise that aligns with BioMatrix’s mission of ensuring global quality compliance and continuous improvement.
This appointment is a homecoming for Nilesh, who previously served BioMatrix Healthcare from November 2020 to December 2023 as General Manager – QC, where he played a key role in strengthening quality operations at the Bavla, Gujarat facility. His return comes after a successful tenure at Troikaa Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where he held the role of Corporate Quality Control General Manager, overseeing multiple aspects of QC functions across corporate operations since December 2023.
Nilesh’s prior experience spans across renowned pharmaceutical giants such as Zydus Hospira Oncology, Dishman Carbogen Amcis, Torrent Pharma, and Intas Pharmaceuticals. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly in the areas of stability studies, LIMS integration, SOP preparation, deviation and OOS/OOT investigations, and regulatory audit readiness. He is also a qualified internal auditor and a respected trainer within the pharma QC community.
Known for his deep analytical knowledge and hands-on expertise with instruments like HPLC, GC, and UV, Nilesh has built a reputation as a Subject Matter Expert in quality control. In addition to his industry roles, he runs the “PharmaVen” YouTube channel, an initiative that reflects his passion for sharing technical knowledge and mentoring future professionals.
