Biju Mahima has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of U-Sphere. With this strategic leadership move, U-Sphere aims to accelerate innovation and operational excellence in the infrastructure and construction domain across South India.
Biju brings over two decades of multifaceted experience in engineering, project management, construction solutions, and executive leadership. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., where he was instrumental in driving business development, profit optimisation, and large-scale infrastructure delivery, including the execution of high-rise buildings up to 55 storeys using advanced structural technologies.
He has also held senior leadership roles with reputed organisations such as LULU IT Infra Build, where he headed the ₹1500 crore Lulu IT Park project in Kochi, and JSPL, where he oversaw multi-storey composite building projects. His international tenure includes key project management roles in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, working with firms like Emirates Engineering Services and Al Zamil Heavy Industries Ltd.
An accomplished professional, Biju is an alumnus of NIT Calicut with a master’s degree in Structural Engineering, and holds a PGCBM in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. He also qualified for the Indian Engineering Services (IES) in 1996, underscoring his technical and administrative credentials.
With his deep-rooted expertise in steel structures, EPC operations, and cutting-edge construction methods, Biju is poised to lead U-Sphere into its next phase of growth, further strengthening ULCCS’s commitment to innovation-led infrastructure development.
