Before this appointment, Deepak served as Director – Marketing Effectiveness for India & Southeast Asia at Nielsen, where he was instrumental in transforming how brands measured and optimized their marketing investments. Over three years, he collaborated closely with top-tier advertisers across industries to quantify incremental gains, drive consultative sales, and retain mature clients through insight-led engagement. His strategic mindset and measurement-focused approach helped many organizations evolve toward outcome-oriented marketing ecosystems.
Deepak’s career journey is also significantly shaped by his longstanding association with Amway, where he held multiple leadership roles over more than a decade. As Insights Head at Amway India and earlier as Regional CMI Head for Europe, India & Africa, Deepak played a pivotal role in building a regional Center of Excellence for insights. He led cross-cultural stakeholder engagements, created unified measurement frameworks, and contributed to global growth strategies across categories like Nutrition, Home Care, and Durables. His earlier experience as Global CMI Lead at Amway’s U.S. corporate office further sharpened his expertise in identifying enterprise risks and uncovering new market opportunities.
Starting his professional journey at Research International, Deepak built a strong foundation in marketing research through large-scale usage & attitude studies for brands across FMCG, automotive, and media sectors. His deep analytical capabilities, paired with a proven ability to translate insights into business action, have been the hallmark of his career ever since.
