Naleen Andrews has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Singer Finance, marking a significant milestone in a career dedicated to driving strategic HR excellence across Sri Lanka’s financial sector. With over a decade of experience in human capital development, organizational transformation, and people-first leadership, Naleen’s elevation to this pivotal role reaffirms Singer Finance’s commitment to building a resilient and future-ready workforce. Based at the company’s Colombo Head Office, he took on the new position in June 2025.
Naleen has been an integral part of Singer Finance since 2018, steadily rising through the ranks from Senior HR Manager to Assistant General Manager – HR, and now to Head of HR. Over the past seven years, he has played a crucial role in shaping HR policies, enhancing employee engagement, and driving talent strategies aligned with the company’s rapid growth in the financial services industry. His leadership has been instrumental in navigating change, streamlining HR processes, and cultivating a high-performance work culture.
Prior to his journey with Singer Finance, Naleen held the role of Head of Human Resources at Prosperous Capital & Credit Limited, where he led end-to-end HR operations and strategic workforce planning. He also served as HR Business Partner – Micro Finance at Alliance Finance Company PLC, overseeing recruitment, compensation, performance management systems, and employee retention programs. His early career stints at Eswaran Brothers Exports Ltd and Virtusa laid a strong foundation in HRIS, payroll, and resource management.
With a deep understanding of HR dynamics across financial services, export, and tech industries, Naleen brings a unique blend of operational expertise and strategic foresight. His tenure is expected to further strengthen Singer Finance’s HR capabilities, enabling the organization to attract, retain, and develop top talent in an increasingly competitive environment.
