Known for her deep understanding of corporate insurance solutions, trade credit, and client relations, Shoobha’s appointment is a strategic move by UIB to strengthen its leadership in a fast-evolving insurance market.
Based in Delhi, Shoobha is currently leading key business development initiatives, client portfolio management, and strategic partnerships at UIB. Her expertise in structuring risk solutions, along with a client-first approach, is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing UIB’s market positioning and delivering innovative insurance strategies across sectors.
Prior to this, Shoobha served as Vice President – Trade Credit and General Insurance at Origin Insurance Brokers/Novo Insurance, where she was instrumental in growing the firm’s B2B insurance portfolio. Her earlier stints include leadership and senior management roles at Howden Insurance Brokers, Global Insurance Brokers (Aon), and Prudent Insurance, where she honed her skills in corporate relations, client acquisition, and policy servicing.
Shoobha holds an MBA in Advertising and HR from the University of Rajasthan, coupled with a BSc Honours in Chemistry. Her academic grounding and professional journey reflect a unique blend of analytical rigour and strategic marketing, which have consistently supported her in delivering value-driven outcomes for corporate clients.
