Since joining Albertsons Companies in 2018, Rupangi has consistently taken on roles of increasing responsibility. From leading cross-functional teams as Sr. Director of Program Management to serving as Vice President of Technology & Engineering, she has driven transformation, fostered innovation, and delivered results that align with Albertsons’ broader digital and operational goals. Her leadership in the U.S. operations, particularly in Pleasanton, California, laid a strong foundation for her current mandate in India.
As Chief Administrative Officer, Rupangi will be instrumental in setting up the operational framework, governance model, and talent strategy for the India Technology and Innovation Center. Her mandate includes attracting and onboarding top-tier talent, building robust systems to support rapid scale, and seamlessly integrating the Bengaluru operations with Albertsons’ global functions. Prior to joining Albertsons, Rupangi held leadership roles at Kohl’s Digital, Gap Inc., and eClerx, where she led strategic projects across digital, data, and customer experience domains. Her earlier career at Accenture laid the technical foundation for her ascent in the corporate world.
