Devidas Nayak has been elevated to the position of General Manager – Human Resources at HFCL Limited, marking a significant milestone in his remarkable career journey. Based in Goa, Devidas has been an integral part of HFCL for over seven and a half years, steadily growing through roles of increasing responsibility and driving impactful human resources initiatives that align people, processes, and performance.
In his new capacity, Devidas will continue to lead HR strategy for HFCL’s Optical Fiber Cable Business Unit, ensuring the company’s continued focus on operational excellence, people-centric culture, and leadership capability building. His role will further strengthen HFCL’s mission to deliver cutting-edge telecom and optical networking solutions while maintaining a high-performing and engaged workforce across its manufacturing operations.
Devidas’s journey at HFCL is a testament to consistent growth and dedication. Before his current elevation, he served as Deputy General Manager (DGM) and earlier as Assistant General Manager (AGM), where he successfully led multiple HR transformation initiatives, talent engagement programs, and Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at improving workforce efficiency and organizational capability. His strategic insights have contributed immensely to building a culture of performance and accountability at HFCL.
Prior to joining HFCL, Devidas honed his HR expertise across reputed organizations such as Schneider Electric, where he held roles as Manager and Assistant Manager – HR, focusing on people development, employee relations, and operational effectiveness. His early professional journey at Marksans Pharma Ltd. and Marmagoa Steel Ltd. helped him gain valuable experience in industrial relations, HR compliance, and employee engagement within the manufacturing and pharma sectors.
An alumnus of SIMS – Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Devidas brings a blend of academic rigor and practical leadership to his HR practice.
