Rajasekar Veerichetty has been elevated to Deputy Managing Director at Al Jawdah Paper, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career in the paper manufacturing industry. In his expanded role, he oversees operations, projects, commercial activities, and administration at Al Jawdah Paper’s first recycled kraft paper mill in Central Saudi Arabia. The company operates advanced paper mills supplying high-quality 100% recycled Kraft JAPLINER (Testliner) and JAPFLUTE (Fluting) across Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
Rajasekar began his professional journey with Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL), where he progressed through engineering, project, and paper manufacturing roles over more than two decades. He contributed to major mill expansion projects and developed extensive expertise in paper machine operations, production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, cost control, and industrial safety. He later joined International Paper, taking leadership of converting and finishing operations, managing a workforce of around 550 employees, and contributing to major capital projects and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
His career subsequently expanded across India and the Middle East through senior leadership positions with Al Suwaidi Paper Factory in Qatar, SUBAM PAPERS, ANAX Industries, and Keryas Paper Industries in Oman. At Al Suwaidi Paper Factory, he led the complete mill operation, including recruitment, commissioning, production, quality, maintenance, material management, budgeting, and team development for a major greenfield project. At Keryas Paper Industries, he provided strategic direction for operations and business growth, further strengthening his expertise in recycled paper manufacturing.
At Al Jawdah Paper, Rajasekar previously served as Chief Operating Officer before being elevated to his current position. His leadership has been driven by technology, innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence. His contributions have been recognized through honours including the Sustainability Master Award, Mewar Award – Paper Mill of the Year (UAE), and the Shine Award from International Paper, USA. With extensive global experience across paper manufacturing, greenfield projects, operations, commercial strategy, and sustainability, Rajasekar continues to strengthen Al Jawdah Paper’s growth and build a lasting legacy in the recycled paper industry.
