Chaitanya Bhatnagar has been appointed as General Manager – Sourcing at Scimplify. In this new role based in Bengaluru, he will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier partnerships, and cost optimization efforts to strengthen the company’s chemical supply chain operations.
Before joining Scimplify, Chaitanya served as Head – Sales & Sourcing at Spray Drying and Chemicals Pvt Ltd, where he was responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations, achieving substantial cost efficiencies while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Earlier, he was Head of Sourcing at Best Value Chem Pvt Ltd, where he led end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, and logistics, while implementing advanced tools for spend analysis, demand forecasting, and vendor development. Prior to that, he held key sourcing and business development positions at Atul Ltd, 20 Microns Limited, and Heubach India, gaining extensive experience across pigments, specialty chemicals, and international trade.
Chaitanya began his career in sales and financial services with HSBC, where he worked as a Premier Wealth Manager, managing high-net-worth clients and corporate relationships. With over 15 years of experience in chemicals, pigments, and global vendor management, he brings deep industry expertise and a strategic approach to sourcing and supply chain excellence.
