Bill Shukla has been appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Ace Designers Limited, India’s largest CNC machine tool manufacturer. Based in Bengaluru, Bill will play a critical role in strengthening the company’s operational capabilities, expanding market reach, and driving innovation. Ace Designers, established in 1979 with over 90,000 installations, offers an extensive portfolio of CNC cutting tools, turning, machining, and grinding centers, supported by a nationwide network of over 600 sales and service associates and nine technology centres.
Prior to this role, Bill served as the CEO and Managing Director of Milacron India for over three years. There, he led strategic initiatives, operational transformations, and product innovations in the plastic processing industry, driving sustainable growth and enhancing market competitiveness. His leadership strengthened Milacron’s position in a dynamic global market while delivering operational excellence and customer-focused solutions.
Bill also served at Thermax Limited for over three years as Executive Vice President for Industrial Products and Environment Business units. He oversaw multi-million-dollar business operations, multiple manufacturing plants, and global projects. His tenure was marked by strategic growth, business transformation, and the integration of sustainable solutions into core operations. These contributions cemented his reputation as a visionary leader with strong operational expertise.
Earlier in his career, Bill was Managing Director – South Asia at Martin Engineering, where he successfully executed a complete turnaround of a loss-making unit, designed go-to-market strategies, and established new revenue streams. His extensive experience also includes senior leadership at Terex Corporation, where he shaped refurbishment business strategies and expanded market presence in India. His career reflects a consistent record of driving profitability, operational efficiency, and innovation.
