Rajkumar Labhana has been appointed as AVP – IT & Digital | Group Head – IT at Sekhmet Pharmaventures, marking a significant milestone in his career in IT leadership, digital transformation, and pharmaceutical technology. In this role, he will lead enterprise IT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, SAP, cloud modernization, and GxP-compliant technology initiatives across the organization.
Prior to this appointment, Rajkumar served as Deputy General Manager – IT at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he led ITQA and Computer System Validation (CSV) governance across multiple sites and supported digitalization, AI readiness, validated infrastructure, and GxP compliance. He also directed CSV initiatives for critical systems including SAP S/4HANA, MES, LIMS, DMS, TMS, and QMS, while strengthening data integrity and enterprise IT governance.
Earlier, Rajkumar held senior IT leadership roles at Dadachanji Group, Casper Pharma, Biological E. Limited, Sai Life Sciences, and Shilpa Medicare. His experience spans SAP transformation, AWS cloud modernization, cybersecurity, infrastructure, IT operations, CSV, data integrity, and validated system integrations. He has also contributed to multiple USFDA inspections and delivered strong compliance outcomes, including zero critical observations across several assignments.
With over two decades of experience across pharmaceutical IT, digital transformation, SAP, infrastructure, and regulatory technology, Rajkumar brings a strong combination of strategic IT leadership and deep GxP expertise to his new role. His appointment at Sekhmet Pharmaventures positions him to drive technology-led transformation, strengthen digital capabilities, and enable secure, compliant, and future-ready IT operations across the organization.
