ABHISH RAJ has been elevated to Deputy General Manager at Tata Projects, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey in the EPC and power transmission sector. In his elevated role, he will lead large-scale international EPC portfolios, driving strategic execution, business growth, commercial performance, and operational excellence across high-voltage power transmission projects. He will continue to strengthen supplier ecosystems, enhance project profitability, and deliver complex infrastructure projects across global markets.
Over the past several years at Tata Projects, Abhish has consistently progressed through key leadership roles, including Senior Manager – Marketing & Business Development, Senior Manager – Project Manager (International Business), and Assistant General Manager – Project Manager, before earning this elevation. During this period, he successfully managed international transmission projects across West Africa, led multiple 330 kV transmission line projects in Burkina Faso, generated nearly ₹500 crore in annual revenue, maintained 100% billing collections, and implemented effective cost-control and risk mitigation strategies that ensured timely project delivery and sustained profitability. He has also played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s international EPC portfolio from ₹750 crore to over ₹2,100 crore.
Before joining Tata Projects, Abhish held leadership positions at KEC International Ltd. and EMC Limited., where he managed large-scale EPC projects and business development initiatives across international markets, including Georgia and Bulgaria. Throughout these assignments, he developed strong expertise in project execution, techno-commercial proposals, procurement, contract negotiations, supplier development, renewable energy opportunities, and operational optimization. He began his professional journey with KS Ispat Limited, building a solid foundation in project coordination and industrial operations.
