Subhashree Nayak has been appointed as Assistant Vice President – Lean Digital Transformation at Genpact, bringing over 6 years of experience in digital transformation, industrial automation, operational excellence, and technology-led process innovation. In her new role, she will lead lean digital transformation initiatives, helping organizations optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate enterprise-wide digital transformation through data-driven and technology-enabled solutions.

Prior to joining Genpact, Subhashree spent over six years with Tata Steel, where she most recently served as Senior Manager – Technology and Projects, leading digital transformation initiatives, reliability enhancement programs, industrial automation, and data-driven technology projects across manufacturing operations. She also held roles as Manager – Electrical Maintenance and Management Trainee (Technical), building strong expertise in plant operations, predictive maintenance, PLC/SCADA systems, process optimization, and operational excellence.

Beyond her industrial leadership, Subhashree also served as Alumni Relations Coordinator at IIM Mumbai, where she strengthened alumni engagement, industry collaboration, and institutional partnerships. This experience further enhanced her leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities, complementing her strong technical background.

Her appointment reflects Genpact’s commitment to strengthening its Lean Digital Transformation capabilities by bringing in experienced professionals who can drive digital innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable business transformation for global clients through technology-led solutions.
