Om Prakash Singh has been appointed as Head – Motor Agency, North & East at Kiwi General Insurance Limited, where he will lead the company’s Motor Insurance Distribution Strategy across the Northern and Eastern regions. In this role, he will focus on expanding Agency Networks, Strengthening Insurance Distribution, Driving business growth, and advancing Customer-Centric Insurance Solutions. With more than Two Decades of experience across General Insurance, Banking, Finance, and Financial Services, Singh brings extensive expertise in Motor, Health & Non-Motor Insurance, Agency Development, Sales Leadership, Business Expansion and Insurance Distribution.
Prior to joining Kiwi General Insurance Limited, Singh served as Zonal Head – Retail Broking – North & East at Magma General Insurance Limited, where he led the development of Retail Broking and Motor Insurance business across multiple States while expanding Broker Partnerships and Strengthening Regional Market presence. Before that, he was Zonal Agency Head – North (Delhi NCR, UP, UK, Punjab) at Magma General Insurance Limited, playing a key role in establishing and scaling the Agency Business across North India through partner network expansion and business growth initiatives. Earlier, he was Head of Product – Motor at RenewBuy, where he contributed to Motor & Non-Motor Product Integration, Digital Insurance Distribution, and Technology-enabled expansion of Insurance offerings across a nationwide partner network.
Earlier in his career, Singh worked as Associate Vice President at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, leading Agency- Motor & Retention businesses across North and North-West regions including New Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Mumbai & other key markets while driving regional growth and sales performance. Prior to that, he spent nearly eight years as Sales Manager at ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd., Managing Private Car, Two-wheeler, Commercial Vehicle and all other Motor Insurance portfolios across North and North-East regions including New Delhi, Kolkata, Ranchi, and other major markets. He began his professional journey with Standard Chartered Bank, where he worked in the mortgage business, building an early foundation in financial services before transitioning into the General Insurance Industry.
