Narendra Girase has been appointed as Deputy General Manager at Stelmec Limited, bringing with him more than two decades of experience spanning business development, strategic marketing, product management, quality leadership, and innovation within the power distribution and switchgear industry. In his new role, he will lead business development, product management and marketing initiatives for medium-voltage switchgear solutions across industrial and international markets, focusing on market expansion, customer engagement, strategic growth planning, opportunity assessment, and commercial excellence.
Prior to joining Stelmec Limited, Narendra spent an accomplished 20-year career with ABB, where he progressed through a series of leadership positions across quality, product management, and marketing. Most recently, as Senior Marketing Manager, he spearheaded integrated marketing strategies that delivered 120% profitable growth above annual targets while identifying new market opportunities that generated significant annual export revenue. His efforts in customer engagement, market intelligence, and value proposition development significantly strengthened market positioning and accelerated business growth across key industrial segments.
Earlier, as Product Manager for medium-voltage primary and secondary gas-insulated switchgear portfolios, Narendra played a pivotal role in defining product roadmaps, driving lifecycle management, and launching next-generation switchgear solutions that generated over $50 million annual incremental revenue. He was also a key contributor to ABB’s global product management initiatives, particularly in advancing ‘Sustainable and Digital offerings’. His achievements earned him recognition through the prestigious ‘Trailblazer Award’ for strategic product leadership and innovation.
Narendra’s career foundation was built through extensive quality and manufacturing leadership roles across India and Europe. As Quality Specialist in the Czech Republic, he contributed to the development of the world’s first laminated bus plate-technology low-voltage switchgear and helped establish advanced quality systems for new manufacturing facilities in Europe. Earlier, as Quality Manager, he led product quality transformation initiatives, strengthened customer satisfaction, and drove continuous improvement programs that significantly enhanced operational performance in India. With his unique blend of commercial acumen, product expertise, go to market strategy and technical leadership, Narendra is exceptionally positioned to drive Stelmec Limited’s growth ambitions and strengthen its presence across domestic and global markets.
