Banti Biswas has been appointed as General Manager – Corporate Relations at Woxsen University, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey spanning over 15 years across corporate relations, placements, industry engagement, and business development. In his new role, he will contribute to strategic corporate partnership initiatives, strengthen employer engagement, support internship and final placement outcomes, and further enhance the university’s position as a preferred destination for industry-ready talent.
With extensive experience in industry-academia collaboration, recruiter relationship management, career development initiatives, and placement strategy execution, Banti has built a strong reputation for creating meaningful corporate partnerships and facilitating successful career opportunities for students. His expertise lies in aligning academic programs with industry expectations while delivering impactful employability and placement outcomes.
Prior to this appointment, Banti served as Head of Corporate Relations at Globsyn Business School, where he spent more than eight years strengthening corporate engagement, expanding recruiter networks, and enhancing placement performance. He played a key role in building industry collaborations and integrating valuable market insights into the academic ecosystem, helping students become better prepared for evolving workforce requirements.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with ISBM University as Assistant Branch Manager, where he contributed to business growth initiatives, client relationship management, system launches, revenue generation, and team development. These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in stakeholder management, operational excellence, and strategic execution.
