With over 14 years of experience in occupier advisory, leasing transactions, and portfolio management, Shatanjay’s professional journey reflects progressive responsibility and sustained excellence. Based in Gurugram, he advises leading corporates on complex office leasing mandates, helping organizations align real estate strategy with business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term portfolio objectives.
Shatanjay’s association with JLL spans more than a decade, during which he has grown through the ranks from Manager to Assistant Vice President, Director, and now Senior Director. In these roles, he has led high-value, multi-city corporate portfolios and delivered end-to-end tenant representation services including location analysis, space planning, relocations, expansions and consolidations, site selection and feasibility, financial modeling, negotiation strategy, lease restructuring, and due diligence coordination. His leadership is characterized by precision, calm execution, and a strong client-first mindset.
Prior to JLL, Shatanjay strengthened his transactional and advisory expertise at Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield, where he managed end-to-end transaction and portfolio responsibilities for marquee occupiers, including large IT clients across NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, and multiple Tier II cities. His role required close coordination with developers, consultants, architects, legal advisors, and cross-functional client teams to ensure seamless execution and consistent service delivery.
Earlier in his career, Shatanjay gained strategic exposure at Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., contributing to business development, feasibility studies, strategic planning, and life sciences real estate advisory. His professional foundation was further complemented by an early internship with Samsung Electronics, where he developed market analysis and commercial exposure.
