Debaprasad Sahoo appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, marking a significant leadership addition to the organisation as it strengthens its ecosystem for cybersecurity innovation and talent development. Based in Bengaluru, he will play a key role in shaping HR strategies, workforce capability, and organisation-wide people practices to support C3iHub’s growing national impact.
Debaprasad brings over 15 years of diverse experience across high-growth technology, digital, and product-led companies. Prior to this role, he spent four years at DealShare, where he contributed to people operations and HR initiatives during a phase of rapid expansion. His work focused on talent acquisition, process improvement, and building scalable HR frameworks that supported business maturity and cultural alignment.
Before DealShare, he held key HR roles at WhiteHat Jr, ElasticRun, and IBM, where he strengthened recruitment strategies, stakeholder engagement, and organisational development. His tenure at these organisations helped him build expertise in supporting large, complex workforces and implementing people-first practices aligned with business objectives. Debaprasad’s early career at Capgemini, Silverlink Technologies, Tech Mahindra, and Fulcrum Digital provided a strong foundation in recruitment management, global hiring operations, and talent alignment across markets including India and the UK.
As Vice President – HR at C3iHub, Debaprasad is expected to drive talent strategy, leadership enablement, and culture-building initiatives for one of India’s leading cybersecurity innovation hubs.
