Shubha (Shubha Khandelwal) Rawat has been appointed as GM – APAC Indirect Tax Lead at Otis Elevator Co., marking a new milestone in her distinguished career. With over seven years at Otis, she has been instrumental in shaping indirect tax strategies, compliance, and governance frameworks across the region.
In her new leadership role, Shubha will oversee indirect tax operations for Otis across the Asia-Pacific region, driving strategic tax initiatives, risk management, and cross-border tax planning. She previously served as Deputy General Manager, where she played a pivotal role in implementing tax process optimizations and ensuring regulatory alignment across multiple jurisdictions.
Before joining Otis, Shubha worked with Lupin Limited, where she held key roles in finance and indirect taxation, strengthening her expertise in corporate tax management and strategic compliance.
A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Shubha ranked AIR 18 in CA Foundation and is currently pursuing the INSEAD Leadership Programme for Senior Executives (ILPSE). Recognized as “Woman Leader of the Year” and an active advocate for DE&I, CSR, and holistic leadership, she also serves as an Independent Director (IICA).
Her appointment reflects Otis’s commitment to strengthening tax leadership and diversity in senior roles across its global operations.
