Navneet Singh has been appointed as Assistant General Manager – Procurement at Rashmi Metaliks. In his new role, Navneet will oversee strategic sourcing, Capex and Opex management, project purchasing, and import operations for the company. Based in Kharagpur, West Bengal, he will be responsible for driving procurement efficiency, optimizing supplier partnerships, and ensuring alignment between operational needs and long-term business objectives. His leadership is expected to strengthen Rashmi Metaliks’ procurement systems and support the organization’s ambitious growth and infrastructure expansion.
Navneet brings with him over a decade of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain operations across some of India’s leading manufacturing and cement companies. Prior to joining Rashmi Metaliks, he served as Senior Manager – Procurement (Capex, MRO & Service Contracts) at Orient Cement, where he played a key role in managing large-scale procurement initiatives, negotiating complex vendor contracts, and driving cost optimization strategies for multiple plant locations. His approach to procurement emphasized digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable vendor relationships.
Before his tenure at Orient Cement, Navneet was associated with Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., where he held multiple roles of increasing responsibility, including Manager – Capex and Project Procurement and Deputy Manager – Procurement. During his time at Nuvoco, he successfully implemented vendor development frameworks, strengthened supplier governance, and executed high-value Capex procurement projects. His proficiency with tools such as SAP MM, Ariba, and Vend-X, coupled with his strategic negotiation skills, positioned him as a key contributor to the company’s operational excellence.
Navneet’s earlier career includes impactful stints with Dalmia Bharat Group as Assistant Manager and Shree Cement Ltd. as Purchase Officer, where he gained deep exposure to end-to-end procurement processes and plant-level purchasing operations. He began his professional journey as an Associate Consultant at Consus Consulting Group, where he developed his early expertise in vendor management and procurement strategy. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage complex procurement ecosystems and deliver measurable results in cost efficiency and project execution.
