Dan Raj has been appointed as the Head of Sales Development – India at Snowflake, effective October 13, 2025. With significant leadership experience spanning over 15 years across Sales, Inside Sales, and Sales Development, Dan is celebrated for his strategic acumen in building scalable revenue engines and driving go-to-market transformation. His appointment marks a key step in Snowflake’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint and strengthen its Sales Development strategy in India.
Before joining Snowflake, Dan served as Senior Manager, Sales Development for India and Japan at Zscaler, where he successfully built the Sales Development organization from the ground up. During his tenure, he introduced new success metrics, implemented scalable sales processes, and launched high-performing inbound and outbound growth engines. Notably, his pioneering initiative, the ‘Partner-Led SDR Motion,’ seamlessly integrated Sales Development with the Channel ecosystem—enabling new revenue streams and accelerating partner-influenced pipeline generation.
Prior to Zscaler, Dan held leadership positions at Innovaccer, Adobe, and Dell, where he played a vital role in inside sales transformation, GTM process optimization, and demand generation strategies. Across these roles, he has been instrumental in shaping modern sales architectures that align people, process, and technology to drive measurable business growth.
In his new role at Snowflake, Dan will focus on defining and executing India’s Sales Development strategy, scaling the SDR organization, and aligning SDR motions with GTM objectives. He will also lead talent development initiatives aimed at nurturing future-ready sales professionals and fostering collaboration across teams to maximize revenue contribution.
