With a strong background in agricultural research, marketing, and student engagement, Prem has consistently demonstrated a passion for advancing the agricultural ecosystem. Prior to this appointment, he contributed to CRISIL as a Project Intern, where he conducted a detailed market assessment of the okra seed segment in Tamil Nadu, mapping key regions, farmer preferences, and the competitive landscape. His analytical insights supported CRISIL’s strategic decision-making in the agribusiness domain.

Prem also gained valuable experience at Vembu Farms and Bio Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he worked as an Executive Trainee focusing on market research, product development, and campaign strategy. His contribution to identifying target markets and enhancing lead generation helped drive business expansion for the company. Earlier in his academic journey, he also served as a Student Volunteer with the Directorate of Training, Placement and Entrepreneurship, where he facilitated training programs, campus recruitment activities, and resume-building initiatives.

Beyond his professional roles, Prem has displayed strong leadership and organizational skills as the Cultural Secretary at Annamalai University, where he coordinated major student engagement events and fostered collaboration among diverse student communities. His multifaceted experience has equipped him with exceptional communication, networking, and analytical abilities — all vital for his new leadership role.
