Nitin Sharma has been appointed as the General Manager – Human Capital at Puravankara Limited, a leading name in the Indian real estate sector. With over a decade of experience in talent management, HR strategy, and organizational transformation, Nitin brings with him a deep understanding of aligning human capital with business excellence. His leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping Puravankara’s people-first culture and driving strategic HR initiatives across the organization.
Before joining Puravankara, Nitin served as Head of Talent Planning & Acquisition at Suzlon Group, where he was instrumental in strengthening the company’s talent ecosystem and building a future-ready workforce. His tenure witnessed impactful transformations in recruitment, workforce planning, and leadership development—initiatives that helped Suzlon sustain its growth in a competitive renewable energy landscape.
Previously, at Welspun One, Nitin held key HR leadership roles, including General Manager – Talent Planning & Business Partner and Assistant General Manager – HRBP, where he oversaw HR operations, talent engagement, and strategic workforce planning across multiple verticals. His proactive approach toward talent retention and policy enhancement made a significant mark on Welspun One’s organizational performance.
Nitin also spent five years with The Phoenix Mills Ltd., where he led pan-India leadership hiring, policy formulation, and HRIS implementation. His efforts in establishing a strong performance management system and enhancing employer branding through social media significantly improved the company’s talent acquisition framework.
