Dhananjay Prasad has been appointed as the new Head of Business Development at V-Trans, a leading player in the logistics and supply chain industry. Bringing with him over 17 years of rich leadership experience across some of the most recognized organizations in India, Prasad is set to strengthen V-Trans’ growth strategy and business expansion initiatives.
Prior to this appointment, Prasad served as Head of Supply & Operations at Jio-bp, where he oversaw critical functions in Mumbai from April 2024 to August 2025. He also continues to contribute as Executive Director at CCI Logistics Limited, a role he has held since March 2023. His career is marked by senior leadership roles across logistics and supply chain giants, showcasing his expertise in operational management, strategic planning, and business transformation.
Previously, Prasad held the position of CEO & Executive Director at Ritco Logistics Limited from 2017 to 2023, where he drove the company’s business growth and strategic vision. Before that, he was Vice President of Business Strategy at DTDC Express Limited from 2014 to 2017, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s business strategy. His earlier leadership experience includes heading transportation at Honda Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., logistics operations at Bharti Teletech Limited, and other key roles in warehousing and automotive logistics.
An alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering, Prasad has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead complex logistics and supply chain operations while delivering value-driven results. His diverse background across express delivery, automotive logistics, and supply operations uniquely positions him to drive innovation and business growth at V-Trans.
